My Story
Before becoming a therapist I was a bit of a job hopper. I always felt as though I wasn't in the right career and realised what I loved about all of the jobs was the human connection. I realised I wanted to do something that made a difference for people in a personal, deeper way and counselling stood out to me. As a deep thinker, I've always loved hearing stories from people with a curiosity to know why we think and behave in the ways we do.
We’ve all been through our share of life’s trials and tribulations, and I’m no different. Having overcome obstacles in my own life in difficult relationships, career struggles and bereavements; I remain open minded to the struggles that my clients bring to their sessions, with a passionate belief that no one persons struggle is more important than any other persons.
I love working therapeutically with young women in particular and I have worked as a school counsellor in secondary schools and sixth forms, and really enjoyed connecting with young people.
"I really enjoyed my counselling with Zoe, she is lovely and understanding and has helped me through a lot."
